Roshan has over two decades of experience in international development, program management, community research, and capacity building, and since 2023 oversees The Asia Foundation’s work in the Maldives. Before joining TAF in 2016, he coordinated the Better Vision, Healthy Ageing Program at the PALM Foundation and served as a legal officer at the National Human Rights Commission of Sri Lanka. He also held roles with the Sri Lanka Red Cross Society and Oxfam GB supporting humanitarian and development efforts during the conflict and post-tsunami recovery. ributing to humanitarian and development efforts during the period of conflict and post-tsunami recovery.
He is an Attorney-at-Law and holds a Bachelor of Laws and a master's degree in human rights from the University of Colombo.
