The Pacific Islands are navigating repeated shocks and rising expectations for local leadership, and lasting progress depends on Pacific-led solutions rooted in trust and community priorities.
We work with governments, civil society partners, communities, and the private sector to strengthen livelihoods, leadership, institutional capability, and engagement between people and public institutions. In the Pacific Islands, we draw on long-standing relationships, applied analysis, and locally grounded programming to support practical, Pacific-led solutions—opening new pathways to resilience, opportunity, and sustainable change.
Impact
People trained in digital skills across Fiji, Vanuatu, and other Pacific Island countries
With strong participation from women and youth, more than 80 percent of participants applied new digital skills to improve their livelihoods.
Locally printed children’s books distributed
Across five Pacific countries, reaching more than 500 communities.
Individuals reached through environmental and disaster risk finance outreach
Supporting adaptive and informed decision-making at the community level.

Digital skills can lead to better work and income generation; we provide women, youth, and informal workers in Fiji and Vanuatu with digital skills they can use to get jobs, start businesses, and access services.

To ensure policy initiatives account for local power dynamics and incentives and can endure, we help Pacific leaders and institutions turn political analysis into practical reforms.
Growing Women-led Food Innovation
To increase food security and economic opportunity, we help women food entrepreneurs in Fiji, Samoa, and Indonesia turn local crops, traditional knowledge, and bio-cultural resources into market-ready food products.
