Enduring the Pandemic: Surveys on the Impact of Covid-19 to the Livelihoods Of Malaysian MSMEs & Workers

The Covid-19 outbreak led to severe repercussions in Malaysia, and the local micro, small, and medium- sized enterprises (MSMEs) appear to have been badly affected.

In order to evaluate the economic impact of Covid-19 on Malaysian MSMEs, The Asia Foundation, in partnership with Merdeka Center for Opinion Research, conducted a survey between July and August 2020 on 153 Malaysian micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) and 853 Malaysian workers. Enduring the Pandemic: Surveys on the Impact of Covid-19 to the Livelihoods Of Malaysian MSMEs & Workers presents key findings from the survey and proposed recommendations to reduce the challenges facing Malaysian MSMEs and workers.
