Mapping of Data on Human Trafficking in Sri Lanka
An initial data mapping of Trafficking in Persons (TIP) data reporting and recording mechanisms was conducted in 2018.
The mapping of government stakeholders included members of the National Anti-Human Trafficking Taskforce and the nature of TIP data collected by each member organization and its referral mechanism. A mapping of TIP data reporting and recording mechanisms of 52 civil society organizations (CSO) from all twenty-five districts of Sri Lanka was carried out. The study collected this information from CSOs primarily working in the field of labor migration as TIP related complaints would likely come to these organizations. These one-page documents captures in brief the findings of this study. Government stakeholdersCivil society organizations
