Digital Youth in Timor-Leste

Digital Youth in Timor-Leste is an online study with twenty-four young Timorese from different parts of the country that explores youth advocacy and their online safety and security.

This study covers areas such as how youth interact in the online world, how they navigate online risks, and their understanding and thoughts on digital rights. The study was commissioned in 2022 by The Asia Foundation’s Community Security and Justice program and Oxfam in Timor-Leste and was implemented by a joint research team comprised of Love Frankie, The Asia Foundation, and Oxfam.
