Amala provides strategic leadership and overseeing day-to-day operations, people and culture, finance, and grants. She has more than 20 years of experience in public health, education, gender equality, SRHR, SGBV, adolescent health, and inclusive education, working closely with governments, NGOs, donors, and communities at national and sub-national levels. Before joining the Foundation in 2023, she served as Country Representative of Rutgers Indonesia and held senior technical, advisory, and leadership roles in large DFAT and Dutch-funded health and education programs.
MSc in Education Management from Universitas Negeri Jakarta and a bachelor's degree in public health from Universitas Indonesia.
