Laurette Slawson Hartigan

Laurette Slawson Hartigan is a strategic finance executive advising and investing in Silicon Valley startups in new media, health tech, cleantech, and fintech. Recently, she served as Chief Financial Officer during a successful leveraged buyout of a global communications mobile app company. Previously, she was CFO of Fandor and financial advisor to Vida Health, a mobile health coaching app. 

Laurette lived in Shanghai for seven years, representing Angeleno Group as its China Venture partner. She also served as Vice President, Treasurer, and Investor Relations at Flextronics International, raising billions in financing and building a global treasury team. Her career spans roles at Montgomery Securities and Chase Manhattan Bank in financing, M&A, and corporate finance. 

Laurette holds an MBA from Harvard Business School, a degree in International Political Economics from UC Berkeley, and studied Chinese at Jiaotong University and Donghua University.
