Pitchanuch is a development professional with over 15 years of experience in regional cooperation, with a strong focus on Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN). She has extensive experience in program management, policy engagement and multi-stakeholder coordination across regional platforms.
Since joining the Asia Foundation in 2020, she has led key ASEAN programs and projects including the ASEAN Convention against Trafficking in Persons Implementation Project (2018-2022) and the ASEAN-Australia Political Security Partnership Program Phase 1 (APSP 1) (2019-2025). Pitchanuch plays a key role in strengthening and expanding the Foundation’s engagement with ASEAN, positioning it as a trusted partner through strategic program delivery and partnership with ASEAN stakeholders. She also supports country offices and program teams in aligning with ASEAN priorities, identifying partnership opportunities and navigating effective engagement with ASEAN mechanisms.
Prior to the Foundation, Pitchanuch worked at the ASEAN Secretariat in Jakarta (2014-2020) and AusAID in Bangkok (2008-2010 and 2012-2014) where she supported regional cooperation initiatives across ASEAN and sub-regional programs.
Pitchanuch holds a joint master’s degree in International Migration and Social Cohesion from the University of Amsterdam (Netherlands), University of Deusto (Spain) and University of Osnabrück (Germany) which she completed as an Erasmus Mundus scholarship recipient. She also earned a Master of Arts in International Relations from Thammasat University (Thailand), and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science (International Relations) from Chulalongkorn University (Thailand).
