Renata leads Women’s Rights and Inclusion programming for The Asia Foundation in Indonesia, overseeing strategy, partnerships, and program implementation. She has more than 15 years of experience in human rights and justice, with expertise in religious freedom, access to justice, peacebuilding, minority rights, and organizational capacity building. Before joining The Asia Foundation in 2015, she led the Human Rights and Justice Program at the Tifa Foundation for 14 years, managing major donor-funded initiatives and advocating for non-discriminatory policies, multicultural education, and protection for marginalized groups.

MA in Human Rights Law from Central European University, Hungary; BA in Comparative Politics from the University of Indonesia; and a Chevening Fellowship from the UK Foreign and Commonwealth Office.
