The growth of Pakistan’s tech economy depends on bringing more women into the sector. We help young women build STEM skills, launch startups, and provide practical solutions to community problems.
Women remain underrepresented across Pakistan’s technology and innovation sectors despite growing demand for digital skills and entrepreneurship.
The Built by Her initiative expands opportunities for young women by providing mentorship, technical training, startup support, and connections to innovation ecosystems that help transform promising ideas into successful businesses. Since 2020, the initiative has become Pakistan’s flagship women’s STEM hackathon, bringing together thousands of aspiring entrepreneurs from across the country to develop technology-driven solutions to address challenges in education, health, climate, cybersecurity, and economic growth.

Working with innovation hubs, incubators, and private-sector partners, the initiative combines entrepreneurship training, mentorship, seed funding, and incubation support to help women transform promising ideas into sustainable enterprises while strengthening Pakistan’s innovation ecosystem.
