Protecting India’s Coastal Communities

With more than 6,800 miles of coastline and millions of people living in coastal districts, and erosion, sea-level rise, and cyclones are putting those communities and their marine livelihoods at risk. The Indian Coastal Alliance is a first-of-its-kind platform connecting coastal think tanks, researchers, and policy experts to strengthen dialogue and collaboration on India's maritime and coastal priorities. Convened by TAF and implemented in partnership with the Centre for Public Policy Research, the initiative advanced research, policy engagement, and knowledge exchange on issues affecting India's coastal communities and ecosystems.
