ROOTED: Advancing Nature-Based Solutions Across ASEAN  

As environmental risks cross borders, we help ASEAN institutions turn evidence into regional action on conservation and environmental resilience.

ROOTED supports ASEAN institutions in developing the knowledge base, policy frameworks, and partnerships needed to advance transboundary, nature-based solutions.

Mapped transboundary forest landscapes across the ASEAN region
Identified opportunities to strengthen regional cooperation on nature-based solutions
Produced a regional diagnostic assessment and multiple case studies to inform policy and implementation
Contributed evidence to support ASEAN’s development of regional policy and guidance on transboundary nature-based solutions

With support from the U.K. Foreign Commonwealth and Development Office, and in partnership with governments and regional partners, TAF combines technical analysis, landscape mapping, and policy dialogue to strengthen regional cooperation and support practical approaches to ecosystem conservation and environmental resilience.
