Thailand

Three women in a small shop leaning over phones, surrounded by colorful woven textiles and shelves.

Thailand is navigating a defining transition from the middle-income trap, and lasting progress requires managing an energy transition, an aging workforce, technological change, and evolving regional security dynamics.

Since 1954, we have partnered with government, businesses, civil society, universities, and regional institutions to strengthen public policy, support resilient infrastructure and energy development, prepare the workforce for the future economy, and promote regional cooperation. Our work across the country supports civil society and vulnerable populations and promotes digital skills, workforce readiness, children’s literacy, and peace and human security along Thailand’s borders. Regional programming managed from the Bangkok office spans the Mekong subregion and all ASEAN Member States.
